From battlefield networking breakthroughs to global partnerships and industry recognition, these moments highlight how Persistent Systems continued to expand operational impact, technical leadership, and organizational momentum in 2025.

1. Persistent Systems Unveils Personal Transport 5 (PT5), delivering Next-Generation Connectivity to the Dismounted Warfighter

The introduction of Personal Transport 5 (PT5) marked a significant advancement in edge connectivity for the dismounted warfighter. By combining 5G cellular, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wave Relay® MANET into a compact, soldier-worn form factor, PT5 enables seamless data transport across tactical and commercial networks; bringing resilient, high-bandwidth communications directly to the tactical edge.

2. Strengthening Coastal Security Across the Baltic Sea

Baltic Sea nations deployed an advanced maritime and coastal surveillance network powered by Persistent Systems’ MANET technology, enhancing situational awareness across more than 2,500 miles of coastline. The deployment demonstrates how resilient, infrastructure-independent networking supports real-time data sharing and coordinated maritime security operations.

3. Supporting CJADC2 at Project Convergence Capstone 5, Enabling Joint and Coalition Interoperability

At Project Convergence Capstone 5, Persistent Systems supported Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) operations by enabling resilient, infrastructure-independent data transport across joint and coalition forces. The demonstration showcased how MANET technology bridges disparate systems to support faster, more informed decision-making.

 4. U.S. Army Selects Persistent to Power Next Generation Command and Control

The U.S. Army selected Persistent Systems to deliver the network foundation for its Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) prototype, submitting an initial $34 million order to outfit the 4th Infantry Division with Wave Relay® MANET technology. Selected following successful demonstrations at Project Convergence – Capstone 5, Wave Relay proved its ability to scale and transport massive volumes of data across an armored battalion on the move, enabling real-time coordination between M1A1 tanks and Bradley Fighting Vehicles during complex combined arms maneuvers. With MPU5 and PT5 devices now supporting further evaluation at Project Convergence – Capstone 6, Persistent’s technology is helping inform the Army’s future networking strategy and accelerating the shift toward a fully networked, data-driven battlefield.

5. Wave Relay Devices Approved Under NSA’s CSfC and NIAP Programs

Persistent reached a major cybersecurity milestone when its Wave Relay® devices were approved by the National Security Agency as IPsec VPN Gateway and MACsec components and added to both the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Component List and the NIAP Product Compliant List (PCL). This approval makes Persistent the first and only MANET solution provider on the NSA’s CSfC Component List, streamlining authorization for classified networking while providing a modern, non-ITAR commercial alternative to legacy Type 1 solutions. The dual certifications enable secure exchange of classified data across third-party transports such as 5G cellular and SATCOM, supporting coalition operations and reducing size, weight, power, cost, and complexity at the tactical edge.

6. Powering the U.S. Army’s CBRNE Modernization

The U.S. Army selected Persistent Systems to support its chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) modernization efforts using Wave Relay MANET technology. The selection highlights the platform’s reliability and adaptability in supporting complex operations in high-risk and degraded environments.

7. Second Annual Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)

Persistent Systems hosted its second annual Technical Exchange Meeting, bringing together customers, partners, and technologists to collaborate on operational challenges and emerging requirements. The event reinforced a commitment to open dialogue, real-world feedback, and innovation driven by end-user needs.

8. Awarded Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) by NATO Communications and Information Agency

Persistent Systems was awarded a Basic Ordering Agreement with the NATO Communications and Information Agency, enabling direct access for NATO and Partnership for Peace nations. This streamlined procurement pathway accelerates allied adoption of Persistent’s MANET technology and strengthens international defense collaboration.

9. Named to the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Persistent Systems earned a place on Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. The recognition reflects sustained revenue growth, expanding global reach, and increasing demand for resilient networking solutions across defense, government, and public safety markets.

10. Re-Certified with the HIRE Vets Medallion Award for the Third Consecutive Year

For the third year in a row, Persistent Systems was re-certified by the U.S. Department of Labor as a HIRE Vets Medallion Award recipient. The recognition highlights the company’s continued commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining military veterans, reinforcing a culture aligned with service, mission, and operational excellence.
