As a ruggedized 5G Cellular
modem for your MPU5, the PT5 is a
Personal Transport that leverages
5G to connect you and your team
to each other and the world.
5G: n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n13, n14, n18, n20, n25, n26, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n71, n75, n76, n77, n78, n79
LTE: B1, B2(B25), B3, B4(B66), B26(B5, B18, B19), B7, B8, B12(B17), B13, B14, B20, B28, B29(DL), B30, B32(DL), B34, B38, B39, B40, B41, B42, B43, B46(LAA), B48(CBRS), B66, B71
The PT5 mounts directly to the MPU5 or remotely via an IP67-rated cable to provide ruggedized Layer 3 transport for Cloud RelayTM. Connect globally without bulky routers or commercial hot spots that are susceptible to weather or your operating environment.
The Snapdragon® X62 Modem from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. powers the PT5, providing premium performance and groundbreaking speeds. The modem implements 3GPP Release (REL) 16 for optimal speed, efficiency, and carrier compatibility.
The PT5 supports physical SIMs, enabling operation on AT&T 5G networks, 4G/LTE, and FirstNet, with support for Band 14. It also supports international roaming and can run on host nation cellular networks. Use Cloud Relay wherever your mission takes you.
Adding multiple PT5s to your network on warfighters in addition to the transport you already own provides redundancy and maximizes availability. PT5s on different cellular networks in the same MANET bubble provide carrier diversity. Cloud Relay automatically picks the best available transport.
The PT5 allows you to leverage host nation cellular networks with two layers of NIAP-approved encryption.
The PT5 with Cloud Relay allows team members to communicate with their 10W MPU5 radios temporarily disabled. This enables covert surveillance by blending in with a host nation cellular signature.
